john & danielle: baby.

I thought I had better get these up tonight! Just a few hours ago I heard the news that they're at the hospital this very moment and they should have a new arrival very soon! As you'll see in these photos, Danielle was very pregnant here and we just took these about a week ago!

When I was in school at Indiana Wesleyan University, I met Danielle. We lived just down the hall in Shatford Hall our first year and soon became really good friends. I knew I had met my match when I heard her laugh! Anyone who can keep up with me in the laughing department, can be a friend of mine! She married John, who also went to school with us, a couple of years later and now they are stepping into the world of parenthood together.

Danielle and John, oh my goodness you guys are gorgeous. Danielle, come on! You are seriously stunning with all that baby glow! I'm so glad that after so many years of losing touch, that our good friend Anna brought us back together! I hope we'll continue laughing together for many years to come! It's crazy to see where God has brought you both. John's an awesome and truley gifted youth pastor at his church and I know they they both have made an impact on so many peoples lives. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you two will be phenominal parents to your little boy. He's going to have the love of two parents who love God and that is more than anyone could ask for in one lifetime.

Enjoy the photos! I can't wait to hear the news!

alex & nicole: married

I've loved getting to know Nicole from all of our meetings at Panera over the past year. She's got the most incredibly blue eyes that made for some amazing photos and she rocked the highest pair of Christian Louboutin shoes I think any of my brides have ever worn before! I love that she would always tell me, "Wait until you see the shoes." They were so high, but Alex is quite a bit taller than her, so the high heels were a perfect fix. On our way from the ceremony to the reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, one of the groomsman mentioned how he just didn't understand why ladies go to the trouble of wearing such a shoe. All I have to say, and I think the ladies and Nicole would agree with me here--Because they just look good, they make us feel taller...especially for pictures on your wedding day!

Yes, we got tons of photos of the shoes, but more importantly, we were able to record Nicole and Alex as they said their vows, and enjoyed their night together with their friends and family. I'm not saying the shoes may have been replaced by bare feet or even flip flops at some point in the night, but hey. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!

Alex, it was great to finally meet this man I had heard so much about prior to the wedding! You and Nicole made us feel right at home with your friends and family and we had tons of fun with you at the reception! I can honestly say I haven't laughed that hard at a reception as I did at yours in a looong time! It was great to see your friends having such a fun time and dancing long into the night! Thanks for everything and I truly wish you happiness and love forever! Nicole, keep wearing fantastic heels! Enjoy your photos and slideshow.
