owen.

Meet little Owen. He's the spitting image of his mom with his big blue eyes and his blonde hair. We spent a short time photographing at their apple orchard and came away with these stellar images. It's never too tough to photograph such an adorable little guy like Owen. And since he did such a good job, I brought out a little surprise for him...lots of colors, as big as he was, and it tastes so yummy! That big lollipop was such a hit and made for a cute picture also.

Be sure to visit Anderson's Orchard in Mooresville to pick your own apples, fresh cider, pumpkin patches and a whole bunch more! Open 7 days a week! www.andersonorchard.com

kevin & charisma: married.

The warm sun was just beginning to show through the clouds as the parade of parents, godparents, bridal party and even the groom, came down the isle. Over to the side of the ceremony sat the limo where our bride was housed until it was time for her to make her grand entrance. At the exact moment the door was opened and Charisma stepped out of the limo, Kevin flashed the biggest smile on his face. This is what months of planning and years of dreaming came down to, and Charisma was finally walking towards her groom, and soon the two would be exchanging vows and rings and sealing it all with a kiss.

This was one of the most amazing ceremonies I've been to. Kevin and Charisma included many Filipino traditions in their wedding with several members of the wedding party involved in various ways during the ceremony. They served up a fabulous spread of traditional American and Filipino cuisine at the reception, and entertained guests with a group of dancers during dinner. One of the absolute highlights of the entire day has to be the "traditional" first dance. The music began and Kevin stepped out and offered his hand to Charisma. She took it, of course, and the two began sashaying across the dance floor in an almost "Dancing With The Stars" kind of way. Just as we were all completely impressed with this display...the DJ goes and messes up the song!...or did he??? Just then, Kevin and Charisma broke out in a TOTALLY choreographed routine for two and finished off the first dance with a mix of great songs. Each song and dance step was funnier than the last and somewhere they ended with their hands up around their faces singing VOGUE VOGUE VOGUE VOGUE...way too funny!

It was such a fun day and I loved how much you cared about your guests and vendors at your wedding! You both are so giving and your wedding day was so unique. I loved photographing every aspect and thank you for bringing me along for the fun. I just loved your mom Charisma she cracks me up! Enjoy your pictures and I wish you all the best! Now go start practicing for your next event...I think you should perform that dance again!!!
