My grandparents have both passed away and I live in the house that Papaw built for Grandma years ago. I moved in a couple years ago and though we visited often while we grew up, you don’t really notice the changes that surround you until you actually live there. With several acres of land and woods, you start to notice these changes from season to season and the most amazing thing happens every spring…it looks like blue rain…My Grandma Bodell planted some little bitty blue flowers that spread and grow more and more every year. That day I left the house I didn’t even notice the blue flowers but when I came home they stopped me dead in my tracks. Something you really need to see to appreciate them. But it’s just something extra special from my Grandma Bodell that she gives me every spring. I’m so SO blessed and it’s just spectacular.
