I've known Katie and her family since we were little. Her grandma was our Sunday school teacher when I was probably 3 or 4, helping us learn to love Jesus, and making sure our wings were straight for the Christmas program. Her mom was our youth pastor and quiz coach, leading by example and planting the seeds to make sure we walked into the perfect path God had made for each of us. Her cousins are still some of my favorite people ever, having photographed a wedding, several family photos, a high school senior, some newborn photos, a few adorable fishing photos, and I hope many, many more still to come! So to say I have known Katie most of my life, is an understatement! And those pies that Opal makes--I know many folks from our town will agree--some of the BEST around!
Getting to share this special day with Katie and her family was priceless in my eyes. And when I got to finally meet Jeremiah, he was so full of personality, truly funny and so in love with Katie. I'm so happy these two have each other and they totally seem to meet each other in the place that just fits them both perfectly.
Katie, I still just love how happy you were that day, laughing with Jeremiah as we ran up that sand dune for photos and seeing you watch him do those fighting moves was adorable! Thank you all for letting me share in your special day, and most importantly, Marti and Robert, you two have raised one amazing, lovely gal! I know she is loved by everyone and her warm, kind, happy spirit is contagious and refreshing!
I wish you both the best Jeremiah and Katie, enjoy my favorites from the day.
