There's just something incredibly special about these two that spilled over into their wedding day and undoubtedly will spill into their lives together. They have a story that is unique and unlike any other. Something that had many tearing up during the ceremony, and carried over into a couple of speeches before dinner. Jenn's mom said it. The minister said it, and even prayed about it. This day was a long time coming and it couldn't have been more perfect as these two professed their loves through vows in front of several friends and family.

The first time I met with these two Scott sat extremely close to Jenn. She had the cutest little haircut and when I brought it up, she laughed and said she once had hair as long as mine. While I sat and listened to their story and their wedding day plans, Scott would hold her hand and stare and smile at Jenn like you just knew he would never leave her side. In turn, Jenn was adorable, as all of my brides are, and she would laugh and give the cutest looks back. These two shared a bond stronger than a small testament of friendship. They evoked a passion for life and they were clearly in love and I couldn't wait for the wedding!

So many months passed and I always get so excited for wedding days! I met the ladies at Studio 2000 for some hair love, and then it was off to get beautified at the makeup counters at Nordstrom. After taking a most gorgeous photo of Jenn's dress, the girls were soon helping her into it, all while buckling shoes and fluffing the veil. When I finally found Scott and the guys, they followed me outside for some thrills and we snapped some photos that hopefully will not be forgotten...note the slideshow for "the photo"...you'll know the one! Before long they were married at the Omni Hotel in a perfect ceremony and they danced the night away in true fashion.

It was a true blessing just to be able to be a part of your day Jenn and Scott! You both stand for so much and you make lasting impacts on everyone who knows you. Jenn, I am touched by your story and your life, and the fact that you now have Scott permanently attached by your side speakes volume of that love that you share. It was awesome being in the presence of your family and your friends for the day. Thanks for being so easy to photograph. You deserve the world! Enjoy your photos!

coming soon: scott & jenn.

These two should be somewhere nice and warm with sand between their toes right about now! For those of us stuck here with the zero degrees and snowflakes, here's one from Saturday's wedding! And Scott and Jen, you had better come back with some nice tans line to show off...hope you're having a great honeymoon!

scott & jamie: married.

As we sat in Panera we laughed and talked about the wedding dress, the planning stress and the photography plan. Jamie sat with her purple shirt and her scarf around her neck. While we talked I couldn't help but notice how when she got really excited she would lean in and her eyes would go wider and she would laugh loudly...After a few short moments of just talking about the wedding, I realized that Jamie was my kind of girl! She actually reminded me a little bit of myself, how I get entirely too excited, I get super loud and out come the belly laugs! Oh man this was going to be one heck of a wedding and the more and more we sat there and discussed the details of the day, the more I couldn't wait to meet this Scott, the man who stole her heart and the man who gave her the to die for ring on her finger!

Not too long after that morning sitting in the Panera, I was waiting in Circle Center Mall for Jamie and Scott. It was a nice and cold December evening and we were about to do the engagement session. I was pumped, after all, I couldn't wait to see what kind of shoes Jamie would be sporting, or the handbag she would be carrying. More than that, I was thrilled when after a few minutes, here came Jamie, gorgeous handbag, cute shoes and Scott! A good 10 minutes later while walking the streets and seeing our breath through the cold air...I totally felt like old friends with these two. This is exactly a perfect match and the rest of the evening was filled with tons of laughing, little gestures of love and a bit of teeth chattering from the brisk air!

So as you can imagine, when I arrived at their beautiful home the day of the wedding, I was beyond elated when I heard a shuffle to the door and there stood Jamie with the hugest smile on her face as she threw open the door. She had wedding hair with a sparkly little tiara, and I couldn't wait to see the dress. Jamie was all smiles from ear to ear. Once we arrived at the church, Scott and the guys were all suited up and nice and calm just waiting in a side room for the day to begin. Soon the ceremony began and Jamie's dad was walking her down the isle. Again, Jamie had the biggest smile but this time so did Scott and it was just really a neat moment to watch while she came down the isle. The rest of the evening was spent at the Bridgewater Club in Carmel with dinner and dancing.

Oh Scott and Jamie! It's taken me a few extra days to get this up because I wanted everything to be just perfect for you two! It was such a fun day with you two and your families and the wedding party made it so easy to photograph! Scott your mom was absolutely darling and your brothers kept me just cracking up the entire night! And Jamie, I spent a few minutes chatting with your mom at the reception and I can see where you get your heart. Wow you guys both just have great families and they made me feel so at ease and welcome to be hanging around with my cameras. Thank you both as well as your friends and families for a great first wedding of 2009! This was for sure one that I would do over and over again if I could! Scott and Jamie I wish you both nothing but all of the love in the entire world and I think you guys will have a wonderful life together as long as you keep Jamie in cute shoes and matching handbags Scott!!! You were a blast to spend the day with and I hope you enjoy the photos!
