Meet little Koen. He is just as cute as they come, perfect from head to toe in every little way possible! I believe his mommy and daddy are only going to spoil him rotten too, as they should of course, just look at him! Heather and Doug, thanks for bringing your tiny guy into the shop just days old for his first photo shoot of many to come. I still can't believe how amazing you looked Heather for just having him. It's no surprise though! You were gorgeous being pregnant, and you still shined just having him. I can't wait to see how little Koen turns into a little man and becomes full of personality. I'm sure he's already there, but he's going to grow up to break women's heart with all his great looks! You both will be awesome parents so I hope you love every second of him each day! anthony. liz. vera: family

You may recognize this happy little family because, as I like to think, they are part of the Bodell Photography For Life Club! I've seriously loved getting to watch Vera become a little lady, and I think it's almost as fun to watch Liz and Anthony turn from husband and wife to real life mom and dad. Anthony tries so hard to get Vera to have fun and laugh and play, and it's the funniest thing in the world to watch! He truly must be the best dad ever because it's all I can do to see through the lens because my eyes are generally watering so bad from laughing so hard at him with her! Liz would agree with me though, he's a character, and it's totally worth getting this wide range of expressions from Vera! And this time photographing her, even I had to pull out some tricks to get a few good laughs...we don't need to go into great detail about that now though do we! Some things are best left to the imagination. Just KNOW, that I go to ALL extremes all in the name of a great photo!

 Anthony,Liz. I adore your family, and I am totally not worthy of being in the presence of Princess Vera! Though when Liz asked her if I was a princess or a pirate, she said I was a princess too! Made my day. She's lovely, sassy, filled with personality and gets cuter each time I see her. Thanks for putting up with me and my attempts for the best photos! Love you all and here are my favs from our time together. Enjoy!

olivia: senior class of 2012

We have known Olivia since she was in kindergarten with my niece! We have even shared a vacation or spring break here and there too! And she's turned into an absolutely wonderful lady inside and out! I can't say enough about her and how much we appreciate how she's been in my niece's life. She's gifted, talented, smart, funny, has one of the best personalities around and not to mention she's incredibly caring and sweet...and then she's gorgeous on top of it all! So Olivia, I hope you love these photos as much as I do! Congratulations on graduating and I hope your senior year has been amazing and more! Enjoy these last couple weeks. You truly deserve it all, so I hope you reach for your dreams, every single one of them! You're the best and we all love you dearly!

zach & jessica: the day after.

Who doesn't love a bride and groom who WANT to put their bridal attire back on for another round of photos! This day was so much fun because these two got to make pizza and ice cream as we walked around Metropolis mall in Plainfield. We stopped in to try on shoes, and we got swanky in Victoria's Secret. Jessica was amazing because she wore two dresses on her wedding day, so of course she had to do both outfits again for this day. And I can't say enough amazing words about Zach! He truly gets the Groom of the Year award in my book! After we made him go through not one but TWO engagement sessions, a huge 12+ hour wedding day of pictures, AND a day after session---he did amazing, and did it all without complaining, AND he even laughed at my jokes and did every crazy pose and facial expression I asked of him! Jess, you got one of the good ones! I loved this day, and you know I'm going to have to beg you to do some sort of photo of the month or year club just so I can see you guys again and again!!! Now that I'm so attached, it's hard to know this wedding is complete. I love you both to pieces. Please enjoy some of these favorites from the day and thanks for being wonderful to do this session!
