Ryan and Heidi were married at an outdoor ceremony at the Oak Hill Mansion with the most perfect shades of browns and oranges serving as a canvas for the entire day. I met Heidi with the girls at her house where she was putting final touches all together with hair and makeup. The laptop on the sink in front of her displayed live doppler weather as it was happening at the exact moment. The girls were in a cloud of perfume and hairspray as they went from room to room checking on Heidi, pulling zippers and strapping on shoes. It wasn't until she stepped into her dress that you could sense perfection for the day to come. It wasn't until she stepped outside about to board the bus that we all took a deep breathe, hoped for non existent precipitation, and then she smiled. I'm not sure that smile left her face for the entire day after that moment.
And the forecast must have proven true, as Ryan stood waiting, watching as the guests turned to see Heidi make her decent down the isle. There wasn't a raindrop in sight and it was only moments until the pastor said his famous line, "You may now kiss your bride." Rings had been exchanged, vows said, songs sang, prayers made. Ryan and Heidi both were all smiles as they went together, hand in hand down the isle as husband and wife.
These two are both just simply gorgeous, and we had so much fun photographing this wedding! Probably some of the most exciting memories of the day were made in part by the bridal party! I had a ball with them and they were all so much fun and quite hysterical at times! Ryan, your best man gave an amazing speech that still makes me laugh to think about it! And I've never seen a kid dance like your nephew Heidi! He was just awesome and cracked me up too! I hope you both enjoyed every minute of the day and I only hope with these photos, that you'll be able to enjoy those moments over and over again! Thank you all again for allowing me to follow you all around with my camera! I'm excited to do it all over again for Mandy and Drew's wedding in December! Enjoy your photos and slideshow!
