Matt and Ashley were married at the gorgeous Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel just a few short weeks ago. They had planned an outdoor ceremony and at the last minute had to move it inside because of rain in the forecast. Although I'm not sure it rained much outside, the day was still perfect in every aspect as they said their vows in front of their family and friends inside.
During the receptions at my weddings I always look forward to the first dances...the bride and groom first dance, the groom and his mom, the bride and her dad...Well, Matt and Ashley truly had some great first dances, especially Ashley and her dad's first dance. Just as the dj announces for Ashley and her dad to make their way to the dance floor, the music begins and suddenly the room is filled with laughter as "Somebody to Love", as performed by Kiss, blares across the speakers. I love it when I get to see something new, and this was definitely a first! Nothing beats a good ol song from Kiss for a nice dance! Ashley's facial expressions were nothing but priceless and they sang and danced as the song played. It was absolutely adorable and all too funny at the same time and the guests all loved it!
Matt and Ashley, what can I say! I think you both are the cutest things ever! Your wedding was really fun to be a part of and I couldn't be happier for the both of you! In just the few times that we have met over the past year to talk and plan your photography for the day, I have seen more and more how much you both truly compliment each other and I wish you all the happiness in the world! So thank you both for letting me follow you around with my camera for a day and thank you for letting me into your world. You both have awesome families and friends who made us feel like old friends who just happened to be on the sidelines getting it all on film. And by the way, I almost put your cats in my camera bag to take home as my Matt & Ashley wedding souvenirs! To say they are the CUTEST ever, is simply an understatement!
